English is one of the most widely spoken languages across the globe. This program will not only develop your speaking and writing skills in English, but it will also help you develop a deeper understanding of the written word. The program explores the beginnings of the language to its modern-day use, by analysing the written word.
Studying in the Department of English prepares students for a variety of professional fields, including teaching, journalism, law, publishing, and the fine arts. English language graduates also pursue jobs in technology and oil companies, commercial agencies (import and export) and work in diplomatic corps.
